Dear Citizens:

I would like to thank, first of all, God for giving me the strength to campaign for a third term as your Jefferson County Sheriff.  As your Duly Elected Sheriff, I want to thank my supporters including friends and family who believed in my campaign and voted for me.

I am especially grateful to the citizens in Jefferson County that did vote for me. Without your support and confidence this would not have been a worthwhile endeavor.  I am humbled and honored.

I ran a campaign of accountability and encouragement from all. We all have a vested interest in the security of our men, women, and children.

Jefferson County has a group of law enforcement officers that are dedicated to the profession they have chosen. I spent the last 24 years of my life enforcing laws and commanding the various divisions of the sheriff’s office. I tried not only to work hard as an up and coming deputy who moved through the ranks but also lead by example as the head of this agency.

Again, thank you to all the citizens of Jefferson County that took the time to vote.

Let's continue to make Jefferson County a better place to live.
