SHERIFF; MAN KILLED AFTER BEING STRUCK BY TRUCK DURING DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE: Jefferson County, Arkansas - October 31, 2015 - A Jefferson County man died after being struck by a truck 3900 block of Mallard Drive in Jefferson County, AR during a domestic disturbance.

The man, identified as Jimmy Edwards, 39, of Jefferson County had been involved in an on-going dispute that originated in Star City, AR, when he was hit by a truck driven by William Dodson of Mississippi, who is believed to be Edwards' sister estranged boyfriend.

Witness accounts of the disturbance stated that Edwards was initially struck by Dodson after coming to the aid of his sister. Dodson then proceeded to leave in his truck but while doing so fatally struck Edwards.

Dodson fled the area in a Dodge Dually pickup truck believed to be headed towards Monticello, AR.

A B.O.L.O "Be on the lookout" for Dodson as well as a description of his truck has been broadcast to surrounding law enforcement personnel.

Edwards was transported to the Jefferson Regional Medical Center Emergency Room, where he was pronounced dead.
