SHERIFF’S OFFICE; 2 KILLED IN DOUBLE HOMICIDE: Jefferson County, Arkansas - June 22, 2018-Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a stretch of highway in Jefferson County, Arkansas to a possible shooting at approximately 9:00 p.m.  A unidentified African American male was found dead inside a vehicle along Highway 15 North in Tucker, Arkansas, and another African American male who was passenger in the vehicle died while being transported by ambulance to the Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Both had apparent gunshot wounds.

From witness accounts, sheriff’s investigators were able to identify a shooting suspect.  However, the suspect’s name is being withheld at this time pending further investigation.

The investigation is on-going.
