UPDATE: AUTOPSY RESULTS FOR DEAD BODY FOUND NEAR HIGHWAY 65 SOUTH: May 30, 2019 Jefferson County, AR - The autopsy results for Steven Keith Heigle, whose body was found near Highway 65 South in Jefferson County, states the cause of death as Diabetic Ketoacidosis complicated by Methamphetamine use and has been ruled an accident.
On Monday, March 25, 2019, Jefferson County Deputies were dispatched to a field, located 2 miles south of the intersection of Highway 65 South and Highway 425, after receiving an alert from working farmers who had observed an unclothed body lying in the field. Deputies arrived on scene at 4:45 p.m. discovering the body and clothing in close proximity. The body had been identified as a 36-year-old white male named Steven Keith Heigle, from Vicksburg, Mississippi.
