JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ENTERS 2012 INTERNATIONAL VEHICLE DESIGN COMPETITION: Jefferson County, Arkansas – May 29, 2012This year the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is taking part in Hendon Publishing Companies 2012 International Police Vehicle Design Contest – People’s Choice Award.  The contest is part of Hendon Publishing Companies Police Fleet Manager print publication.   

Originally published by the Copp Company in 1953, LAW and ORDER Magazine was purchased by Hendon Publishing in 1979. The following year, Hendon Publishing launched 2 new vertical publications in law enforcement Police Fleet Manager and Tactical Response.

In the Fall of 2006, Public Safety IT debuted to more than 35,000 technology purchasers.The Police Fleet Manager Publication is a unique, vertical magazine targeting 17,000 fleet managers and fleet directors.  The police vehicle design contest focuses on

With over nineteen different police vehicle design categories ranging from ugliest vehicle to best support vehicle, the Police Fleet Manager Publication offers a wide-range of vehicles from various law enforcement agencies across the world.  The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is the only participant from the State of Arkansas in the category titled Sheriff Over 25-West with nine other participants from as far away as Wallace, Idaho and Kelso, Washington. 

To cast your vote, simply visit www.hendonpub.com/policefleetmanager on your smartphone, ipad or computer and click on the Vehicle Design People’s Choice Award.  Voters can then select the category titled Sheriff Over 25-West, click on the details tab next to Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and cast their vote.
