JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE INVESTIGATORS ARREST MELTON TOWNSHIP CONSTABLE ON RAPE CHARGE: Jefferson County, Arkansas – August 30, 2012 – Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators affected the arrest of a Jefferson County, Arkansas Constable this afternoon on suspicion of rape.  Thomas Eagle, 50 YOA, was arrested following the collection of both tangible and non-tangible evidence as part of a rape investigation into allegations that Eagle had raped a now twenty-seven (27) year old male when he was only eleven (11) years old.

The investigation was conducted by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.  Eagle is currently the Constable elected to the Melton Township in Jefferson County, Arkansas.  Following his arrest, Eagle was booked into the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center at 12:22 p.m. on a charge of rape.  Bail for Eagle has not yet been set and he is currently awaiting his first appearance hearing in a Jefferson County District Court.
