SHERIFF'S INVESTIGATORS SEIZE WEAPONS, DRUGS, AND STOLEN PROPERTY FOLLOWING THE EXECUTION OF MULTIPLE SEARCH WARRANTS

SHERIFF’S INVESTIGATORS SEIZE WEAPON(S), DRUGS, AND STOLEN PROPERTY FOLLOWING THE EXECUTION OF MULTIPLE SEARCH WARRANTS: Jefferson County, Arkansas – October 29, 2014- Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigators, Deputies, and Tri-County Drug Task Force Agents seized stolen property, firearm(s), $10,895.00 in USC, suspected marijuana and approximately 3.3 ounces of suspected Methamphetamine “Ice” following the execution of two (2) search warrants in Jefferson County, AR.

At approximately 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2014, acting on a lead into the location(s) of stolen property, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Investigators executed a search warrant at 3908 Highway 65 South, lot 50, where a search of the property and a truck associated with the property revealed the discovered and seizure of a stolen rifle and semi-automatic pistol.  During the search, investigators also discovered and seized approximately 48 grams of suspected Methamphetamine “Ice” and $10,895.00 USC.  Charles Pennington (52) was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance w/Intent to Deliver and Theft by Receiving.  Phillip Queen (31) was also arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) w/Intent to Deliver and Possession of Firearm by Certain Person.  Pennington and Queen both appeared in Jefferson County District Court on October 29, 2014 before District Court Judge John Kearney for an initial appearance/probable cause hearing, where a bond in the amount of $10,000.00 secure was set for Pennington and $10,000.00 cash for Queen in addition to a parole hold.        

A subsequent search warrant was executed at 2102 Sydney Street, Apt# 4-D, where a search by investigators resulted in the discovery and seizure of approximately 16.2 grams of suspected marijuana and 46.7 grams of Methamphetamine “Ice” and arrest of David Kilcrease (38), Meagan Thompson (25), and Lequieta Houston (48); all charged with Possession of Controlled Substance w/ Intent to Deliver.  Kilcrease, Thompson, and Houston also appeared in Jefferson County District Court on October 29, 2014 before District Court Judge John Kearney for an initial appearance/probable cause hearing, where a bond in the amount of $25,000.00 secure was set for Kilcrease, $10,000.00 secure for Thompson, and $10,000.00 cash for Houston in addition to a parole hold.
