***Firearms Qualifications***

Monday, May 22, 2023 at 0800 Hrs through noon on Saturday, May 27, 2023 we will be conducting Annual Firearms Training & Qualifications.  ALL JCSO Certified Full-Time, Auxiliary, and Specialized Law Enforcement personnel are required to attend.  This is MANDATORY training to remain certified.

We will be qualifying with the handguns, shotguns, and patrol rifles that you carry on and off duty.  The 4-hour course sessions will be from 0800 Hrs to 1200 Hrs and 1300 Hrs to 1700 Hrs each day.

Bring all your Sheriff's Office issued weapons with to you to the range on the date you attend.  And as always bring anything that you think you may need to sustain you for the time you are on the range.  Hearing protection, eye protection, and bullet-proof vests (if issued one) are required.  It is recommended that you wear appropriate clothing and footwear for range activities as well as for the weather of the day
