VETERANS DAY

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office (JCSO) honors all of our Nation's veterans whose hard work and sacrifice has allowed us as citizens to enjoy the many freedoms of living in a free society.

Every year when we celebrate Veterans Day on November 11th, we are humbled by the bravery and courage of the veterans in our community and in our country. They are our neighbors, our friends, our families, and our loved ones.

JCSO maintains a close relationship with all branches of the United States military and is proud to recognize the contributions of our very own employee veterans, many of whom continue to serve in the United States Armed Forces as members of the Reserves and the National Guard.

Our veterans and their families have made many sacrifices to keep our country safe.

We strongly encourage everyone to think of our veterans and thank them when you see them.  We support and honor our veterans, not just on Veterans Day, but every day of the year.
