SHERIFF’S OFFICE PARTNERS WITH WALGREENS TO OFFER FREE FLU VACCINATIONS: Jefferson County, Arkansas - October 23, 2017 – Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office announced free flu shots will be offered October 24th at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center.

 

The flu shots will be offered between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. Tuesday and are available for any Jefferson County employee. No appointment is needed; however, employees are required to present their medical insurance card.

 

The free flu shots are offered in partnership with Walgreens, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center. 

“Influenza is a serious disease that can make even healthy people very sick,” said Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Operations Commander, Major Lafayette Woods, Jr.” "With every flu season being different, getting an annual flu vaccine is the best way to reduce the risk of getting the flu and spreading it to others.”
