SHERIFF’S AUCTION NETS OVER 40K: Jefferson County, Arkansas – May 18, 2019-

Saturday, May 18, 2019 Tracy Robinson Auctioneers in conjunction with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Tri-County Drug Task Force conducted a public auction at the Jefferson County Courthouse located at 101 E. Barraque Street in Pine Bluff, AR. 

Bidding opened up at 9:00 a.m. with many bids placed on property ranging from seized/fleet vehicles and to office furniture and equipment. This auction was handled using the 10% Buyers Premium. 

In 2013, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in conjunction with the Jefferson County Road Department, Jefferson County Recycling, Jefferson County Building and Grounds, Tri-County Drug Task Force and Pine Bluff Vice & Narcotics Division conducted a public auction where the six (6) entities’ gross total was $165,291.50 with $36,150.00 of the net total monies collected being deposited back into the Sheriff’s Office Operating Budget.

The overall gross sum of $43,976.00 was collected from this year’s auctions with $39,401.00 of the net total monies collected being deposited back into the Sheriff’s Office Operating Budget.
