DEPUTY PURSUIT ENDS IN CRASH ON HIGHWAY 365 SOUTH: January 21, 2020 - JEFFERSON COUNTY, AR - A suspect wanted for aggravated robbery, theft of property, and battery in Jefferson County, AR was arrested following a deputy pursuit that ended in a crash on Highway 365 South and East Baldwin Road in White Hall, AR.

The Tri-County Drug Task Force was notified of a wanted suspect, 22-year-old Corjalon Evans, in a vehicle near the area of West 23rd Ave. in Pine Bluff, AR. At 2:33 p.m., deputies attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle, which also included a black female passenger, began to increase in speed, initiating a pursuit beginning at Hazel Street and 13th Avenue in Pine Bluff, AR.

It has been reported that the suspect hit a vehicle on Blake Street in Pine Bluff during the pursuit and ended the pursuit by crashing into a White Hall Police Department vehicle. The suspect climbed out of the driver's side window in an attempt to flee, but was apprehended by K-9 Soder. 

There are no reported injuries at this time. All involved parties will be transported to the hospital.  

White Hall Police Department, Pine Bluff Violent Crimes Unit, and Pine Bluff Narcotics Unit also assisted with the pursuit.
