UPDATE: PERSON OF INTEREST WANTED FOR QUESTIONING IN 2nd DEGREE BATTERY INCIDENT Jefferson County, Arkansas - April 3, 2020 - Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has located and apprehended the person of interest in a recent 2nd degree battery incident that occurred at a victim's residence located on Highway 54.

Deputies located 49-year-old, white male Dirk Horne hiding under clothing in a residence located on Divoky Road. As deputies made contact with Horne, he resisted arrest and was bitten by K-9 Soder. 

On Sunday, March 29th, deputies were dispatched to Highway 54 in regards to a victim being wounded in the head. The victim identified the suspect as 49-year-old, white male, Dirk Horne.
