ARREST MADE IN SHOOTING THAT OCCURRED NEAR WHITEVILLE ROAD: Jefferson County, Arkansas - January 6, 2021 - Deputies were dispatched to a shooting that occurred near Whiteville Rd. at 1:11 p.m. 

The victim has been identified as 51-year-old, white male Tony Jones. 

The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old, white male Zackary Vermillion.

The suspect has been arrested and charged with First-Degree Murder. 

The investigation is ongoing.
