JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE INVESTIGATING A HOMICIDE:  Jefferson County, Arkansas - March 14, 2022 - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office - Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is in the early stages of a homicide investigation.

On Monday March 14, 2022, at approximately 11:25 AM Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Pack Road in the Pastoria Community where the body of the man was found in a home.  The man later identified as Terald Shaw, 60 years-of-age, was pronounced deceased by the Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Eric Belcher.

Shaw's body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy to be performed by the State Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.
