UPDATE - JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE ARRESTS HOMICIDE SUSPECT:  Jefferson County, Arkansas - March 17, 2022 - On Monday, March 14, 2022, at approximately 11:25 AM Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of South Pack Road in the Pastoria Community where the Terald Shaw was found deceased in his home.

Today, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division (CID) along with the assistance of the Tri-County Drug Task Force has arrested Glen Sledge (57), AKA "Bird Dog", of Pine Bluff in the homicide of Mr. Shaw.  Sledge was located hiding in a house in the area of Hepburn and Pear Streets, in Pine Bluff.  Glen Sledge was booked into the W.C. "Dub" Brassell Detention Center on charges of Capital Murder.

Also arrested and booked today was Clyde Poplar (66) who is an absconder for the charges of Hindering Apprehension in relationship to the case.

"Once again, our team has put in the hard work and long hours this week to solve a tragic crime bringing some closure for the victim's family.  Their diligence is commendable and I am very proud to have a staff of men and women who serve our community with such dedication", said Sheriff Woods.  "Victims should be treated with compassion and respect for their dignity.  They are entitled to access the mechanisms of justice and to prompt closure.  We are well on our way towards the road for closure for the Shaw family thanks to the work of our team of investigators.", said Sheriff Woods.
