AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST DONATES FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS:  Jefferson County, Arkansas - August 30, 2023 - Ambassadors For Christ Youth Ministries - Arkansas, a 501c(3) non-profit organization, has generously donated a very much needed quantity of feminine hygiene products to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for use in the Adult Detention Center.

Soon after the announcement of the crisis created by the denial of claims by the Jefferson County Judge's Office, Shanta Rice - the Senior Project Manager for Ambassadors For Christ Youth Ministries contacted our office.

Ms. Rice expressed their organization's great compassion for the situation and offered their assistance by way of donation.  Ms. Rice immediately went to work to prepare for delivery of a large quantity of feminine hygiene products for the female detainees confined at the W.C. "Dub" Brassell Detention Center and even arranged for the delivery.

On the next morning the products were graciously received as promised.  Sheriff Lafayette Woods, Jr. said, "Mrs. Rice and the Ambassadors For Christ organization's willingness to assist us after having realized the immediate need underscores the strong presence of cooperation and community engagement of issues that matters most."  "We extend a most heart felt 'Thank You' for their support", said Sheriff Woods.

Furthermore, several other individuals have reached out to our office with similar offers to help and those donations are expected soon.
