UPDATE ON DEPUTIES SEEN AT HOSPITAL FOR EXPOSURE TO UNKNOWN SUBSTANCE RELEASED:  The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is pleased to report that Deputies Emanuel Hayes, Keaira Hawkins, Mauricia Bennett, and Zekeyia Jackson who were seen at Jefferson Regional Medical Center (JRMC) for exposure to an unknown substance at the W.C. "Dub" Brassell Adult Detention Center have been released by medical personnel and cleared for duty.

We are thankful for everyone's thoughts and prayers that went on during this time and are thankful Deputies Hayes, Hawkins, Bennett, and Jackson have been released and cleared for duty. We are also thankful for all of the medical personnel who attended to them during this difficult situation.
