JEFFERSON COUNTY MAN SHOT AND KILLED IN DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Jefferson County, Arkansas – Thursday, October 10, 2013 – A Jefferson County man was shot and killed at his home at approximately 9:20 a.m. during an alleged domestic dispute with his would-be grandfather-in-law, Billy Nutt w/m (75 YOA).  At approximately 9:40 a.m., Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office deputies and investigators responded to a 911 call from Billy Nutt at13406 Cornerstone Road in Altheimer, AR.

Tabius Love b/m (23 YOA), had suffered what appeared to be a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene when authorities arrived.  Upon an initial investigation at the scene, investigators were told that Love and Billy Nutt had become embroiled in a domestic violence incident that resulted in Love’s death.  Love lived at the residence with his girlfriend, Misty Nutt and her grandparents, Billy and Anna Nutt.

Billy Nutt was arrested in the shooting death of Love and currently being held at the W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center on Probable Cause for 1st Degree Murder.  A bond for Nutt has not yet been set.  However, Nutt will appear in Division 1 of the Jefferson County District Court on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. before the Honorable District Court Judge Kim Bridgforth for a Probable Cause hearing, where a bond will be set.
