JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE FEATURE: Jefferson County, Arkansas - August 12, 2014-The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office launched its website on February 12, 2012 and are now pleased to announce that they have added the ability to upload photos, video, audio and other files to the Crime Tips form on the site.
The Sheriff's Office is blessed to have such a great relationship with this community and receive many tips each month from citizens. Having the ability to upload photos, video, audio and other files to the Crime Tips form will now allow the public to send the photographic and/or audio video evidence to aid deputies and investigators in investigating crimes. This new feature is also available on the mobile version for those who access the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office website from a mobile phone or tablet. We invite the community to visit our site at (http://jeffcoso.org/crime_tip.php) to view the new Crime Tips form.
As always, citizen users have the choice of leaving a phone number or email address if they want to be contacted or may remain anonymous if they choose. However, in the event of an emergency or need of immediate assistance, please call 911 or the Sheriff’s Office at 870-541-5351.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Website continues to grow in its popularity since its launch in February 2012. With more than 700,000 visits, the website so far in 2014 and an average of 20,000 unique visitors each month it has become a model law enforcement website for hundreds of Sheriff’s Offices in dozens of states from the east coast to the west coast.
